Naptime by Jennie Butler

Motherhood means working the day, swing, and graveyard shifts. To stay healthy, sexy, and sane napping isn’t a luxury it is a necessity.

You will be a better wife and mother at 7pm if you lay down with your little ones at naptime. Your kids deserve a kind mother tucking them in at night. Your husband deserves a wife that still has a twinkle in her eye for him.

Your best self might be eluding you on the other side of a nap.

As Winston Churchill once observed:

"You must sleep sometime between lunch and dinner, and no halfway measures. . . .That's what I always do. Don't think you will be doing less work because you sleep during the day. That's a foolish notion held by people who have no imaginations. You will be able to accomplish more. You get two days in one -- well, at least one and a half."
